Treatments
Wellness Massage is tailored to your needs, whether you are at the beginning of your wellness program or maintaining the progress you have already made. Combining techniques using Swedish and/or Deep Tissue, the goal of this massage is to reduce stress and to increase blood and lymph circulation, relieve temporary muscular tension and discomfort, speed the removal of metabolic waste products, and assist the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the cells. Deep Tissue massage techniques are more focused and detailed in order to address the cycle of spasm and pain in specific areas. This combination creates a balance so that the body can heal itself most effectively.
Lomi Lomi is known as a soothing, flowing, gentle, relaxing experience. It is this and much more. Complemented with focused techniques to limber tired or stiff muscles, it can produce profound results for those who are open to all possibilities of healing, no matter what culture they come from. One of the major tools is the forearm, used in long flowing strokes to increase circulation or for deep focused work.
Pregnancy Massage is a great way to relieve some of the stress and tension that has accumulated due to the pregnancy. As a result of all the changes happening in your body this massage will ease you through the different stages of pregnancy. This massage is similar to the Wellness Massage and is tailored to your needs, keeping in mind the added demands of the changes you are going through, and various reflex points which are to be avoided during this time.
