About

Arlene Estrella-Buccat graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in August 1998. Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, she move to Southern California to pursue a career in Massage Therapy in October 1998. For the past 8 years she has predominantly been working in the spa industry. She has also practiced in conjunction with local chiropractors, and with major corporations doing onsite chair massage.

As a member of the American Massage Therapy Association she has served the Los Angeles/South Bay Unit in various capacities and also is a part of the AMTA California Chapter Convention Committee. Arlene is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). Arlene is a member of the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Association and is the only therapist in the Great Los Angeles area recognized by the HLA.

Arlene has a passion for life—always searching for a new experience, to grow as a person in order to help others find passion of their own lives. She is eager to help those who are dedicated to assisting others—she delights in being a caregiver to the caregivers. Arlene expresses her intent this way: "I am not here to fix you. I am here to facilitate your own inner wisdom and knowledge to heal yourself."

Through her bodywork, you will be in a safe and comforting environment. Bringing together a broad knowledge of various modalities such as traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Pregnancy Massage, Arlene's sessions are truly unique. She has also studied in Hawaii with Wes Sen, a student of Aunty Margaret Machado, one of the leading founders of Lomi lomi Massage. Arlene has found a way to marry both her love for the hula and massage with Lomi Lomi.
